I created this piece to capture the contrast between traditional Sicilian culture and the modern digital age, demonstrated by the artist spending a moment on his phone amidst the historic charm of Taormina. Using a limited palette of greens and red, I aimed to evoke a whimsical, leprechaun-like vibe despite his clear Sicilian roots. Depth and detail was added with sharpie and micron pen.
